Primarily as an Ecclesiastical carver Laurence has perfected techniques that enable him to incorporate supportive skills allowing for a greater skill base from which he can carry out his profession. Laurence is privileged to have been involved with many prestigious projects, examples are: The ’signature’ carver for the renewal of the State Dining Room and Octagon Dining Room ceiling bosses at Windsor Castle, the restoration of the Grinling Gibbons carvings at Hampton Court Palace and the conservation of two exterior Grinling Gibbons carvings at Holme Lacy, Herefordshire.
